Blows hot air on me!

I hate this unit. I wish I had known before we installed it, which was very difficult. The way it's designed the exhaust comes out under the cabinenet. The hot air from cooking blows directly on your feet and lower legs when you are standing in front of the cooktop. In the winter if it's freezing in the house it might be nice to have hot air blowing on you, but in the summer it's horrible. What were they thinking when they designed this? It's also very noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
