This is the 2nd 6283 28" spinner I have purchased and used for domestic/international travel. I buy Swissgear luggage for their functionality and because they look great! I have encountered a problem more than once though, and this 2nd 6283 is a replacement for the first.. the telescopic handle can break on you. Mid travel, which makes for THE most inopportune travel experience. These 28" bags (and smaller, which I've had break on me as well) may be able to hold an awful lot, but I do not recommend totally stuffing them. Because the handles WILL break in transit. Until that happens, it's a fantastic bag.

I am very disappointed with my purchase. The wheels do not track well, causing the bag to drift in various directions when trying to walk through the airport - VERY FRUSTRATING.
The bag has a lot of room, and if you don't mind tipping the bag onto the two back wheels and dragging it behind you, it's adequate for multi-day travel. Based on an earlier version of a Swissgear spinner I owned, this newer version demonstrates the unintended consequences of design changes for increased profits.
Overall, for the price I paid, I guess I got what I paid for. This is not the level of quality I expected from this company!

I bought this luggage for my honeymoon. The size is great, love the color, and it's size is within flying regulations. The only complaint I have is that the front part of one of our suitcases is attached/sewed on crooked. We bought two, and when we sat them side by side, we realized the pockets were angled and not straight it. I don't want to pay the shipping, and there's nowhere near me I can return it, so we're just going to live with it.

This is my second purchase of the same bag. The only difference is that the other one was tan and this one is blue. The tan one was really put to the test and endured many guided tours where bags get traditionally rough treatment, and of course we all know what airline baggage treatment is like.

After a lot of shopping and reviewing a lot of products, I had finally ordered a suitcase that I was really excited to receive, when I finally got it, it was the wrong one and the correct one was no longer available to send. I had to go with another company all together, very disappointing.

Wheels: roll fine on hard floors, less well on carpet. Robustness: OK so far. Traveled to Colombia two weeks after purchase with no signs of wear. Functional: all that I need but for a suiter which hard to find in any brand. Value: very hard to beat.
