We LOVE SwissGear!! Over the last 30 years, we have traveled both inside and outside the US with our 4 children to vacation and visit family. We've had a multitude of luggage brands, but have now switched all our luggage to SwissGear products. WHY? They are extremely durable, glide easily when pulled and have handles on 3 of the 4 sides. The handles make it extremely easy to lift your suitcase and lay it flat for opening and/or resting on a surface or storing it in the car, luggage rack, and etc... This latest purchase was no exception. Quality matters, especially in the "long haul".

Not a piece of luxury luggage but excellent quality for the price. Wheels pivot well, material is substantial and will last, and the handle is sturdy and not wobbly at all as the handles so often are on bargain luggage. Useful exterior pocket space too.

These two were replacement bags for similar bags that we have used on many international trips. And when we get there, my wife and I do not stay in 5 star hotels and take fancy taxis. We take busses, local taxis and the bags get rough handling.
These bags will take it.
The only problem we have ever had is the zipper tabs tend to break off. Wish they were a little stronger.
But a wonderful traveling companion!
We also have Swissgear backpacks that are 8 years old and almost look new.

This was to replace a medium size checked bag that I used for worldwide travel since 2016. Infinitely better and more user friendly. Same size as the old. I especially like the four casters (my old one only had 2). I can walk down a concourse and roll it beside me instead of having to drag it. Also, I paired it with a Swissgear laptop backpack, and I would HIGHLY recommend the combo. And the 5 year warranty is added insurance for Baggage Gorillas.

Even though I could not find exact size (slightly smaller), color (lime green) or matching tote, I live swiss gear! I have only made one trip with this so far, but I have another swissgear bag that it 10 years old and still going strong. This bag displays the same quality. The bag has lots of room and could easily hold one week worth of winter clothing for myself and a toddler. With handles on three sides, the bag is easy to load into vehicles. My only critique are the wheels. They are a little stiff and do not glide smoothly on carpet. However, I find this a minor inconvenience when considering the overall high quality.
