Not so happy with the dishwasher.... it doesn't drain all the way, some water is left behind and it smells already. Also, takes a very long time to wash a load. The best part about it that its quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really quiet, smaller than our previous one

Our old Kitchenaid died so we ended up getting a new one. This Kitchenaid is super quiet. You can hear it so you know it is running, but it takes listening and it doesn't interfere with the TV, talking on the phone, or anything. However, it doesn't seem to be as big on the inside as our previous one in that we seem to be able to fit less into the new one. I miss being able to delay the dishwasher 2 or 4 or 6 hours instead of only being able to delay 4 hours with the new one. I preferred the flip down feature of the previous dishwashers silverware holders. the height between the bottom rack and the top rack also seems less. However, it cleans our dishes really well and it is QUIET which is what we really wanted.

Love the racks

I really like the way the racks are designed. The previous dishwasher racks (Kenmore elite) were poorly designed causing the dishes not to fit well. Even the soap dispenser works. It also has a rinse cycle that I appreciate.

This dishwasher is quiet and does a good job cleaning...IF you pre-wash and ensure dishes do not overlap when loading. My previous kitchenaid was quiet, cleaned well without pre-washing, and paying attention to dishes overlapping.
