Quietest we've ever owned

This model replaces an older Kitchenaid. We expected the new one would be quieter, but are very impressed. There are only the occasional burble or whirr which only lasts a few seconds - very little water noise. The many internal features will take some time to evaluate. Now check my double oven review.

We've had this a month now, and love it. Granted, it replaced a 14-year old model, but I've had new dishwashers in other homes and they didn't compare to this. It does a great job scrubbing everything clean and the dishes come out dry and sparkling. And it's QUIET, like sometimes I'm not even sure it's running unless I check the light. Highly recommend this model.

Very quiet but takes a long time to cycle

I bought this in late July along with a number of other appliances. This is one of the appliances that does work. It is a lot quieter than my older dishwasher. But it seems like the cycle time takes forever. It's probably 3 hours of wash and dry time. I haven't been able to determine if it does in fact use less water than my old washer. But I can say that it does dry my dishes better.
