Amazed at how quiet it is!

This is the "quietest" dishwasher I have ever owned! The first time we ran it, I wasn't sure it was even working... until I could hear the water running down the drain as it was draining between cycles. Very pleased so far.

I've had this dishwasher for about a month now, and I love it. I've used the ProClean cycle almost exclusively, and dishes come out spotless; the average cycle time seems to be about two and a half hours, though. When running, it is exceptionally quiet; I have to listen very carefully to hear it at all. Because the lower rack is configured completely differently from my old dishwasher, I'm still getting used to how to load it, but that isn't the dishwasher's fault. I've read a couple of reviews that complain that the detergent door doesn't open completely during the wash cycle, leaving detergent in the dispenser, but I haven't experienced that myself. Overall, an awesome dishwasher...highly recommended!

I feel I'm back to my roots!!!! When we married, ages and ages ago, we bought a Kitchenaid dishwasher, my first dishwasher!! It lasted, without a problem, for 25 years. We left it behind when we moved. Haven't had one as good since. I hope this one will outlastme!!

I am very happy with the selection of this dishwasher. We previously owned a Kitchenaid dishwasher and were delighted with its function and longevity. So, naturally I came back to Kitchenaid for its replacement. This not only is equal but possible superior to the prior unit. We have an open kitchen family room, so the quiet operation is very important. This is exceptional!

Purchased approximately 1 month ago. Initial problem, control panel would not work, replaced panel next day, working fine now. Cleans extremely well. Main complaint, an owners manual was not provided. Difficult to discern between cycles etc. Also the cycles are extremely long time wise.
