Purchased this dishwasher 6 weeks ago. It is so quiet that I've had to nearly put my ear to it to listen for it running. Seems to clean and dry just fine. Still trying to figure out best way to load dishes. Larger dishes are a little more difficult. Old dishwasher had a variable hr delay, miss that.

The dishwasher fits well and very quiet. A few times the cycle has taken longer than anticipated. recommend not using the dispenser and throw a tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher. Also use some vinegar during a wash cycle. Stacking is very important and follow the user guide

We purchased our unit a couple of months ago and have continued to have quality issues with the cleaning. We scrape and rinse the dishes (although we did not have to on our old machine, but I understand that Energy Star units may require this).
However, the quality of the clean is very poor. Silver comes out spotted and often with bits of grit. Glasses and items on the top rack appear as if no water is hitting them, with a thick grit layer inside the glasses often.
I have tried using the detergent provided with the machine and two other types. I have checked the filter. I have run the tap to make sure hot water is flowing before starting. I've checked the water dispersers that spin and they seem fine and are clean. My only assumption is that sometimes the water doesn't make it to the top rack?
I have tried using the ProWash setting and the Tough setting with some luck, but not reliably.
I am, frankly, also less than happy with how the racks are arranged as I can fit much less in this unit than my old one, but I have to say this unit is amazingly quiet. I can live with my other issues if I can get it to actually clean properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Total remodel of kitchen and dining room into a much larger kitchen. Upgraded to a full size dishwasher and only wish I could get husband to stop hand washing dishes so I could run the dishwasher more often!

Added new floor in my kitchen and was told kitchen aid brand would no longer fit. It fits. I loved my old dishwasher a kitchen aid.but after 10 years it was tired. The new one does a great job and is so quiet you can stand right next to it and not hear it!
