GE can’t get parts for this new item a door handle

I got the ice maker new and GE can not provide me any way of getting the door kit and handle. Basically I have a new ice maker and No handle to open the door. GE has an indefinite wait till next year to get the part. New item and can’t get door cover or handle!

Purchased brand new, installed in new house on October 1st, hasn’t worked a day! Had to get a service repair person over, needed “new board” it was just installed today…..we will see….. very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
