Continuous Ice

Very happy with the size, shape, and clarity of the ice produced. Was not prepared for two aspects of the ice maker:
1. It is quite loud when releasing the ice; may wish to locate away from conversation areas
2. Did not realize the ice is produced, but not continually frozen within the compartment. I now realize this is a feature of all ice makers. The ice is wet and continually melts. After finding out this element, I realize the genius of a continual supply of fresh ice.
I had my cabinet maker fabricate a custom front to match the surrounding cabinetry. It is a lovely and functional addition.

Overall Ice Maker is what we expect

We do love this new ice maker our main disappointment was the pump for excess water was not part of the cost of this ice maker. It is working as expected

Our family enjoys drinks with good quality ice. Having had a previous GE icemaker, the icemaker that we just purchased offers better quality ice. Crystal ice is what we enjoy. The only thing I am bothered by is that the icemaker is loud when it is in the process of refilling and making ice.

It worked well for 3 years

This ice maker came with the house. It worked well for 3 years. I kept the regular maintenance. When the time to clean light went on last time, I did same maintenance but when I plugged it back it was working but never turned water into ice.

SO EXCITED TO FINALLY GET OUR NEW ICE MACHINE! WE LOVE IT, WE PLUGGED IT IN AND IT STARTED MAKING ICE RIGHT AWAY!
**NOTE THAT IT DOES NOT COME WITH A FRONT DOOR PANEL AND THAT NEEDS TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. I DID NOT KNOW THIS AND HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE- THEY TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO ORDER, AND I ORDERED IT ON FRIDAY AND RECEIVED IT ON SUNDAY!

Factory QC should be better
