Ice maker issues

We bought this refrigerator about a month ago. The main reason we purchased a new one was due to the fact our old ice maker had died. We retired it to the garage and brought our new shiny one in. It made ice within the first 48-72 hours, but has yet to fill the ice container. It seems to make ice about 4 times/day. Other than that we love the refrigerator. Shelf layout, along with door shelves is excellent, drawers are great, but the best thing about it are the interior lights.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Refrigerator ever

We bought a GE Cafe Counter Depth Side by Side Refrigerator seven years ago, when we finished building our new house. All we had were problems with it. The repair guy was out twice before the warranty expired, and we still had problems with water inside the refrigerator, and mold growing, no matter how many times I cleaned it with bleach. It never kept the moisture at bay. Worst fridge ever. We recently bought an LG and it came this morning. Bye bye GE. Thank goodness!

GE appliances were only option by builder - this refrigerator is much worse than previous refrigerators.
Poor shelf design and placement, wasted room really bad door closing mechanism.

Just What We Wanted!

We actually bought this exact model in July, 2016. Other misguided reviewers for this model seem to have bought some other refrigerator YEARS AGO. Our kitchen needs a counter depth size, and we want the water filter for removing pharmaceuticals, a cheese drawer in addition to the vegetable bin and meat keeper, and a quality feel. This refrigerator fills the bill. It runs quietly. The ice maker is a little noisy, but not objectionable. Very pleased!
I would recommend this to a friend!
