Best Refrigerator for overall features, performanc

I bought this refrigerator after researching all makes & models. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I was reluctant to purchase as it wasn’t available to see at the store. Decided to take a chance and ordered online. By far the best refrigerator I’ve ever owned. Love the size of the counter depth model and it’s very easy to operate, is extremely quite and makes more ice than we need. Overall, spend the extra money and purchase the GE Cafe.

Our refrigerator is fairly new. At first we thought we were having issues with it but turned out to be nothing at all. Only issue is I could use. Ore space but overall great.

Excellent performance good features.
Stainless steel shows every water drop and fingerprint.

No more ice crisis

I had a French door fridge and always ran short on ice. No more with my GE side by side! Also this has a great veggie crisper that really works well keeping veggies fresher longer

Beautiful Refrigerator

We researched many side-by-side and French door refrigerators and brands before finalizing on this GE Café model. Ice making capacity was a primary factor, as we had experienced the limited capacity ice maker in a French door refrigerator of another brand. We hosted our kids and their spouses and children over Christmas, and the ice maker kept up with the demand. Thanks, GE!

Questionable build quality.

I bought this GE unit to replace an existing GE counter depth unit, which lasted 20 years. The unit operates and cools/chills with the right functionality.
The quality of this newer unit had issues with non-sliding and stuck plastic shelving/drawers, the initial GE filter didn't flow water from the dispenser, so bought another filter to replace the new originally installed filter, and the wheels and unit squeeks when openning the door (the roller/wheels do not lock).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
