Manufacturers flaw

Similar issues as other people are having. Circulation fan is not working properly which is causing ice dams to form and then melt. Leaking on our wood floors and causing damage. Had is serviced and the problem reoccured. Would not recommend this product.

Don’t buy!!!!!!

Junk, have do disassembled the bottom freezer every three weeks so it can defrost. If I don’t, water leaks all over the floor every day. Control panel has gone out twice. This didn’t start until the warranty had expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.

The refrigerator has been in service for almost 8 years and has performed flawlessly except water supply. I have water to the refrigerator but nothing at the tap and no ice maker function. I’d like to address that but can’t find a service manual. I’m not an appliance guy but do work in refrigeration.

Problems since purchase in 2016. Ice maker frequently freezes and has to be dumped, wasting water. Noisy when on. Leaking occurs occasionally under the unit, under the freezer shelf and under the crisper.

My refrigerator, it's jogging.

Good construction, ample space, nice layout, easy to use freezer buttons and easy to replace water filter. It was wonderful until the freezer started leaking / malfunctioning. Though even there the overall drawer design and freezer design was very usable. My first intentionally purchased GE product, I'm on the fence as to what my next refrigerator will be, however mostly have enjoyed this one.
The trouble has been with the leaking and now malfunctioning of the freezer.

Nice but can’t handle humidity

It is a really nice fridge though the evaporator freezes up and it just runs and doesn’t cool. Let it warm up and melt snd it works again. Probably fine if you live in AZ. Would not buy again.

Would not buy again.

I have owned this fridge since 2016. It's needed repaired 3 time. The refrigerator part quits working, the bottom freezes over, the water dispenser and ice make quit working. Would not buy again. My 1950s garage refrigerator hasn't been worked on in my lifetime I would expect a better product from something this new. Maybe if we make refrigerators in the USA again quality will return.

Warning: sharp edges on shelves

Warning: the interior shelves have very sharp edges. I have lost count the number of times they cut me while I was reaching in to grab an item. I don’t know why GE designed them so poorly.
