I love having the freezer on bottom. I can actually see everything in my fridge without having to bend over. A little pricey, but I like it.

We were so excited to get this fridge....and it turned out to be a disappointment. We had it delivered and put in place for us. First of all, the wrapping around it was blue. Even after they unpackaged it and left, there are tons of blue plastic pieces stuck in all the grooves on the outside which are absolutely impossible to remove. It does not look good and there is nothing we can do about it. Next, the ice maker is horrible. It does not hold much ice and it takes forever to come out. The fridge overall is also kind of loud...we can always hear it running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgraded from a 27yr old side by side. Love the room this new one gives me. Veggie & fruit draws are a bit shallower but love the full width drawer. 4 months and everything works great. Not to loud and looks beautiful. Thanks GE.

My French Door

I always wanted to French door refrigerator and hated the side-by-side so I have so much more space and it's But what was a French door going to accommodate was my big question . Well let me tell you it holds way more than I expected and I love it

Needs larger ice maker

Functions as needed but the ice maker only makes enough ice for 1 large or 2 medium glasses of ice, and then takes forever to replenish.
