Good Fridge

I just had this Fridge installed in my new home. I’ve mid using it since mid- October. I am very happy with it overall. The only disappointment I have is that the water spout has a very slight constant drip, which needs to be wiped off the tray every so often. My neighbor has the same exact fridge, and his does it too. So it must be a minor defect with this model.

GE took in consideration normal front door sizes when building this refridgerator. We removed the doors and it fit nicely through the door. We love the chic grey stainless color and the curvy look. The LED lighting inside makes everything easy to find. The only bad thing is the size of the door ice storage. When it fills we dump it in a container to store in the freezer so it will make more. Which really isn't a problem. I read other peoples reviews before buying this unit. I'm glad I didn't let it stop us. This really is a nice fridge for the money.

We have had this for a few months now and love it. The double doors for the fridge are great, I love being able to put big platters and dishes in it. The buckets for veggies and fruit are great too, we get lots of fresh produce and there is always enough room. The pull out freezer is great too. We are very happy with it!

Everything about this refrigerator works for my family of five. The stainless steal, water and ice dispenser, sliding trays and doors that properly lock to keep our food fresh. And it was perfect to add to our brand new home that we had built!

External ice maker constantly blocked

I bought this refrigerator for the crushed ice and filtered water feature. I am on a feeding tube and the only thing I can have by mouth is ice chips and sips of water. The ice maker is constantly getting clogged up. The only way it works is to run cubed ice through it several times a day and to daily empty the ice container. This is way too much work for a brand new 2000 refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
