Not happy with the ice maker, constantly building up on one side and needs to be opened (with great difficulty) to release ice clump. no "dairy" section on door for butter, etc. Door doesn't hold much on shelves. freezer tray drawer sticks, and does not slide easily. water dispenser on door drips
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy, runs a lot, drips, nice space inside

I chose a different GE refrigerator for my new home, but it was discontinued, so this was the closest version that the builder put in. I have not been happy with the product. It runs for 20 mins, every 30 mins even when closed all day. It runs loud, make pops, clicks, gurgling, and multiple fans will run at once creating layered noise. The water dispenser drips a few drops even hours after you used it. I leave a folded up piece of paper towel on the drip try to catch the droplets. Last, the bottom freezer drawer makes a screeching noise when you open it. According to GE's website, these noises are normal. The functionality, aesthetics, and space are all great
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Spacious

Love the space and design. Very modern and attractive as well as functional. The double doors and the bottom drawer freezer gives me all the storage I need in a fridge. I also love how GE provides better options for filter purchasing, not just pricey corporate brands. Thanks again GE!

Accessories and freezer section

Purchased this refrigerator two nights ago to replace our old unit due to the many problems it was having. I received a substantial saving for buying this unit as it was scratched and had a small dent. I was able to save several hundred dollars because of the imperfections to the appearance of the unit. After the refrigerator was delivered and installed, I started to inspect the unit closer and was in the process of learning the units control panel when I noticed the unit was missing the dairy bin. I called the store where I purchased the unit and was informed that the dairy bin was an considered an accessory and did not come standard with the unit, even though the units manual showed the dairy bin in place and the manual did not state the dairy bin was an accessory. The way the manual reads, it leads the reader to believe that the dairy bin comes with the unit. I had to order the dairy bin from GE and having it delivered to my home. This is why I am giving this unit a 4 star rating.
