Love the Slate finish

The reason for less than excellent rating is the dripping water from the water/ice dispenser. Very annoying.

I MADE A MISTAKE AND BOUGHT ANOTHER BRAND THREE YEARS AGO AND HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. WHEN THEY REFUNDED MY MONEY, I BOUGHT A GE, LIKE I SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN THE FUTURE, I WILLNOT BUY ANY OTHER BRAND.

So quiet! I live in a small home

so I am aware of noises. This refrigerator (GFE28) is so quiet, I can't hear it even with my ear next to it. Once in a while I'll hear the ice drop, but this isn't at all annoying. So far I love the looks and available options. My only regret is the lack of instructions for the digital system. There are only four short lines of explanation (half page wide).

We bought this a few weeks ago and love it. it is very spacious in both the freezer and fridge area, large drawers, great LED lighting, I recommend getting the drop down dairy compartment, it is very clever and very convenient. Extra large dispenser area is the best. Love the control lock because we have a 2 year old.

This was a replacement refrigerator covered by a purchased extended warranty. Had original refrigerator only 5 years. ALWAYS purchase the extended warranty!! This unit is quite noisy.
