My GE letdown.

Not one of my favorite appliances, I did not figure that I would have to pull maintenance on a new appliance.

GE 25.7 French Door Refrigerator

Extremely UNHAPPY with the GE 25.7 French Door refrigerator/ freezer. I have had this refrigerator for about a week and the freezer is NOT working properly and I’ve been told that the fan and the seal need replaced ! Totally Unacceptable & unreasonable to have a refrigerator/freezer fail and require parts replacement within a little over a week!

Fridge works well but it is very loud. We had a GE rep stop out at the house and he tried to make adjustments but it is even louder now. I am assuming at this point it is an issue with our particular unit and hopefully not representative of the model. We are requesting it to be swapped out with a different refrigerator.

Convenient storage and features

This refrigerator has convenient storage and a great size. Only frustration is the in door water dispenser that is very sensitive and cuts off if the container moves only slightly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved the fridge right up till it gave me an ERROR

This fridge is great, but on the first night I received an error message in the water/ice panel. I troubleshot from the user manual and nothing worked. I am now waiting on a repair. Be cautious. It seems there are too many electronic parts on this. I will update later.

Disappointed in a GE product

Disappointed in this GE product. Extremely noisy unit. Have never owned a refrigerator that is as loud as this unit. To date both the freezer and fridge sides are keeping temperature and maintaining the food. The ice/water dispenser is functioning correctly though the ice cubes produced are too large. Should be smaller in size. Do not fit well in various water bottles.

So far so good. Water and ice dispenser work well. Had to get creative with the inside since the door pockets are much smaller on one side.
