Buyer Beware

Replaced the filter with XWFE filter. Immediately got an error and no more water. Now neither the new or old filter works. Have had the fridge for under 1 year and told it is not under warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the look of it, and other features like the freezer on the bottom, but hate that it rattles constantly. It is the noisest refrigerator I have ever owned. Have to hit it to get it to stop. Disturbing.

GE Profile Disappointment

It functions as expected and keeps items cold. Problem areas:
1. Ice maker gets clogged frequently and must be checked manually and then reset.
2. Ice maker is small and doesn't make enough ice for a family of 4.
3. Freezer door is loud and noisy when being opened and closed. Plus the door will stick in a slightly open position which wont trigger the door open alarm.
4. Both french doors must be checked to confirm that they are closed. They will frequently stick in a slightly open position which won't trigger the door open alarm.
5 The split shelf design doesn't work well with large trays or juice/water bottles. Just a poor design.
6. The door shelves have limited adjustments and those shelves on side of the ice maker can only hold the short mini cans or bottles.

Love My Frig

I love my new refrigerator freezer. It fit well in my home. I have more room than I'll ever need. I love the bottom freezer drawer, ice maker that lights up at night.

It’s a very nice and feature filled French door refrigerator for the price. I do think Ge may have cheapened out on some things, but time will tell if it’s a quality build.
