Spacious but I miss the door shelf

I bought this refrigerator because it was spacious however because the ice maker is in the front and not the back it's taking up very valuable shelf space on the door for my drinks.
Very poor planning. Also one of the smaller shelfs has broken, came off the door and broke. I am very disappointed.

Too loud

Some type of fan in this model runs 24/7, it's just way too loud. GE tech has been out 3 times, couldn't fix it. A 4th visit is pending. It also throws ice in all directions, unless you cover the opening with your glass, and drips water after you use the dispenser. It also leaked water out of the dispenser for several hours once recently. Super disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good While It Lasted

I had a complete kitchen remodel complete with a GE dishwasher, fridge, and double oven. Six months after the install my new GE fridge started sounding like vehicle. I called to get to serviced and was given a service date two weeks out! Oh no!

Lots of space

There seems to be a lot of space in the freezer due to the ice maker being in the door. I may finally be able to get rid of my old deep-freeze. Also like the LED lighting and the door opening mechanism. I could do without the water dispenser on the door, which is a little slow. Only complaint is that the controls on the front of the refrigerator door are very hard to read.
I would recommend this to a friend!
