I had 2 service techs (not GE) recommend GE refrigerators. They knew what they were talking about. I love the design & its so quite.

Spur of the moment mistake...

Not the room on the inside that I expected. meat shelf is a joke have to open the whole fridge to get into it, freezer too big need more refrigerator space. wasted little plastic shelves that hold nothing. Can't even fit 2 gallons of milk. Was not my best buy, It does keep things cold so far and little finger prints. Can't even get a magnet to stick to the side of it still an air bubble on the sides of fridge. This was my second fridge. First air bubble was a lot bigger. Though this one would have held a magnet but no. Plastic trays in doors are more brittle and have to be careful taking anything out of the doors so they don't break. Yes I feel like crying about it somedays. Not really happy about our choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple product that does its job, nothing fancy. The filter status is a good feature since it is based on usage not time of last replacement (no need to change frequently if you are using it less). The visibility on the water dispenser panel can be improved and there is some mild condensation in between french door rubber when the room is hot in summer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door ice dispenser works efficiently. Love the double drawers in the freezer. Lots of space on the door shelves and in the cooler drawers for meats and fruits/ veggies.

You can turn the lights on your dispenser by pressing the "Light" pad on the dispenser. Please refer to page 10 of the manual at this link
