Very satisfied so far with the product. The only thing is the ice goes everywhere when you are dispensing it. Doesn't come out in one direction. Frequently falls on the floor.

Bright and Open

Love how open and easy it is to see everything in the fridge and freezer because of the width. I haven’t quite figured out a personal shelf arrangement that works for very tall bottles but I would certainly never want to go back to a standard side by side fridge.

Tiene problemas . Soltó la manilla de la puerta del congelador ,la parte de abajo . Tiene problemas la Máquina de Hacer Hielo, se Friza las paredes interiores . El congelador de abajo hace escarchas.

Not happy

Not very happy. Food freezes, mostly vegetables & water. I raised temperatures . Also, ice maker makes a horrible sound when dispensing. Would not buy it again

Keep Looking - Quality Decline & Loud Hum

I replaced the fridge I purchased 7 years ago because I have a kitchen full of GE appliances and in the slate color. I liked my old frog, and with 2 repairs within 6 months, I choose to replace it. Overall, I am very disappointed as the fridge has an extremely loud hum, louder than the dishwasher. I can hear it all the way to up second story of my house. The freezer drawers are are all plastic and do not smoothly move in and out compared to my old fridge. If feels like there is less storage space in the freezer than my previous model. The inside has better lighting than years ago, but the doors and shelves again are very thin plastic feeling compared to my previous fridge. It also took 60 additional days to get the fridge than originally stated by the retailer. They blamed it on the slate color and only having certain manufacturing times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can understand how disappointing it is when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. We have a list of sounds in the manual that will explain what you are hearing. The new high efficiency compressor may run faster, and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. This model has 17.54 cubic ft. of space in the fresh food and 8.17 cubic ft. of space in the freezer, with a total of 25.70 cubic ft. We apologize for the delay in receiving your new refrigerator and hope that the more you use it the more you will like it.

AMAZING GE REFRIGERATOR

I purchased this GE French door refrigerator for my mother because she's always wanted one, I decided to give it to her for Mother's Day. I can't even describe how her excitement and emotions were on that day, even I'm excited about it with all the space it has and the drawers. We love that there is a button where the water dispenser and Ice buttons are that lets you know when it's time to change the filter. We have never owned a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom it really seems convenient to pull the drawer out and there is enough room in the freezer for several food items. Mom and I love Ice the only thing about it is that it seems to be a little loud when you get Ice, but my son says that's how the new ones are, I guess if it didn't make noise then we wouldn't know if it worked or not. Needless to say, we are very happy with the purchase I made and wouldn't change it for any others. We love it and I believe I chose one that's going to be with this family for a long time. I bought the Black Slate and really love it. Thank you, GE, YOU BRING GOOD THINGS TO LIFE

Within 2 months, the icemaker kept jamming up with large clumps of ice, then it quit making ice altogether. We found that the icemaker completely froze up. The water and ice cube tray froze solid. Water was leaking from dispenser, puddling on the floor. Had to turn it off. It is still off!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
