This refrigerator replaced an LG that was higher end with more features and larger interior space… That being said the algae kept breaking… And customer service and repair is very difficult… GE customer service and easy repair for exceeds LG.so far so good with the new GE fridge. Of note the freezer door is a little sticky when you go to close it… It may need an adjustment…

This fridge is HUGE! So much storage and I love the freezer on bottom. Love the fingerprint resistant also. Would recommend

Purchased a new GE French Door Refrigerator (GFE26JYMFS) after my 7 yr. old refrigerator was damaged in a house fire. This refrigerator is a great deal; plenty of room and thr French Doors are Great. The only drawback is it's a little noisy but once you get used to sounds it's not that bad. Would defiantly recommend purchase for the value is well worth the price.
