I've just had my fridge for a few days but so far, so good. Everything is running well --love my ice maker--and I really enjoy the bottom freezer and layout of fridge. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I've only had it a few days --assuming all runs well, I'd give it a 5 star. Glad I bought GE

SO FAR SO GOOD, LOOKS GREAT, AND COOLED QUICK. RIGHT DOOR WONT STAY OPEN BUT WE ARE WAITING ON A RESPONSE FROM GE, IM SURE IT'S SOMETHING SIMPLE.

We chose our GE Refrigerator to replace our older smaller side by side GE model, our new GE is larger French Door unit that seems to have double our freezer as well as the refri areas. Plus it updated our kitchen space without a doubt..

Like the unit other than the ice bucket is very small....would not have bought it if I would have researched it more. Had to order it and never got to look at a floor model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the placement of Ice Maker

This fridge was a replacement of a GE fridge we had for 11 years that couldn’t be repaired. I love where the ice maker is located in the new one as I gained shelf space. I don’t like the smaller shelves on the doors. The drawers and shelves are much lower quality than the ones in our old fridge. I like the way the drawer opens when freezer door is opened but again the quality is not as good as the older fridge drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish it worked

I bought this refrigerator during a kitchen remodel. It made a few very tiny ice cubes, much smaller than my 20+ year old fridge which still worked. It never filled the ice maker. It took 40 seconds-I timed it- to get 1 measuring cup of water. The temperature of the freezer varies from 30 degrees to -20 degrees. The inside of the refrigerator is covered with condensation. There is ice in my crisper pan. I called and a GE service person came out. He adjusted one door and replaced the water filter. I now have ice and water but the other problems have not been solved. I am having another service call next week. I am quite disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE FRENCH DOOR WITH ICEMAKER/WATER IN DOOR

The refrigerator is reasonable for the type and style, has plenty of cubic square feet, and the design is pleasing. The shelving inside is good but the space in the doors doesn’t have adequate space for a refrigerator of this size. The door inserts are also not very large and are not well made. If not for that, I would’ve given the refrigerator a 5 Also, the icemaker & water in the door are great features!

Love my Fridge

My new French door refridgerator with bottom freezer is wonderful. It has so much more room than my old side-by-side. The adjustable shelving and drawer space (in both fridge and freezer areas) is just what I was looking for. It is so sleek in the black stainless too.
