Lots of bright room due to ice container located on the inside door. Especially like the large pull out door for creative space of storing. However the ice storage seems extremely small for our family. When. We first got the refrigerator the ice machine wouldn’t operate much at all. Tried everything and finally called our dealer who said these units were coming in with defective filters. I changed the filter and no longer have any problems. I would like for the plastic bins and parts in the freezer to be a little more sturdy or stronger plastic. I wouldn’t complain if the words on the front of the water/ice showed up better. Overall it’s a pretty good unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the large capacity and the design . The ice and water dispenser were big selling points for me. Doors seem to slam a bit but that's not a major concern

Ugly Refrigerator I ever Own.

I did a lot of research before I decided this was the fridge for us. The motor is very quiet. I thought there would be a lack in freezer space, however it does fit everything I would normally have in a double door freezer fridge. Only downfall is that even the though the shelves are adjustable, with the the shelves in, you cannot fit large drink containers properly. You have to basically have to tilt the drinks sideways or adjust one of the shelves to the point you can barely fit anything in the shelf you just adjusted below the drink shelf. You do loose the side storage on this fridge compared to a double door fridge. The other features make up for that. Besides that it's been great!

No fingerprints!

We love our GE french door refrigerator in the slate finish. It takes all the work out of cleaning off fingerprints! It is sleek on the outside and has adjustable shelves and great lighting on the inside. Ice maker is loud when refilling, but we are used to the sound now.

Handle for Freezer Door Comes Flying Off

The freezer door comes flying off every about other time I open the freezer drawer. I have completely fallen over opening it and I'm a healthy fit individual. Our fridge cannot be moved, luckily or it would have fallen on me. There was a recall from this I cannot believe this model wasn't included. GE came with our home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spacious and has nice features

The water and ice in the door work well. The interior is very spacious and easy to arrange in different positions. The freezer is larger than we expected. It did make noises for the first several days as was explained in the owners manual but then it quieted down, It’s a very acceptable noise level now..
