It's good

It looks beautiful, it function well and works good. I had a 12+ old GE refrigerator side doors. Ice pusher broke. So got this fridge. I love it. I admit it i hear it more than my old fridge tho, old one is still quieter but I'm sure it probably nothing since the fridge is only few weeks old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

French Door Refrigerator

We ordered the refrigerator GFE26JGMWW on September 27ty 2021. The white refrigerator was suppose to be in by January, then February. In February Appliance Factory said that they did not know when our white refrigerator would be in. Appliance Factory found an open box with scratches. We can not see the scratches. However, the icemaker does not work. The repairman came out and found that two wires were not colored coded, so he ordered a new door. He has no idea when the door will come in. When you pay as much for a new refrigerator as we did, we expect it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Troublesome ice maker issues

Product was ordered March 27, 2021, received October 26, 2021 and have yet it dispense ice. Original ice maker was replaced, 2 valves were replaced, entire new door was replaced. Finally a new refrigerator was ordered. Received in March 2022, it made ice but won't dispense the ice. Needs new auger motor. Very frustrating and slow process. Since getting GE repair tech involved we feel we have been getting much better results. GE has stood behind its product by replacing original refrigerator and now with continued service.

The GE Refrigerator - GFE26JYMFS worked out of the box as advertised and looked good too. It's used as a second refrigerator in my home. Therefore, I do not have the need use the water and ice functions.

Nice fridge, looks great, tons of room in freezer and French door design is awesome! The freezer handle came off 4 times in the first month, the last resulting in it breaking and needing repair. Nothing fancy, but works well. Disappointed with the cost for a baseline fridge.
