Very Practical!

The refrigerator and freezer provide good storage space. Since the ice maker is located on the door, it creates more room inside. The sliding shelf is very practical to store tall bottles. I like the fingerprint resistant. I like overall everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pro: The fridge and freezer have great capacity and versatility.
Con: The ice maker’s hopper has a very small capacity and it’s hard to read display on dispenser.

We have had issue after issue with this fridge since day 1. The fridge is now one year old and the ice maker no longer works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We truly hate to hear you’ve had a problem with the ice maker not working correctly – we know how frustrating that must be, especially as you’ve had issues with the refrigerator previously. This isn’t the quality ownership experience we want for you.
As the ice maker is not working correctly, we recommend checking the water supply to make sure it’s on and properly connected. Checking that the freezer compartment isn’t too warm, and there are no stuck ice cubes that are preventing normal operation, might also help. We have additional troubleshooting details on page 43 of the manual, linked here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-2.pdf&_ga=2.267999306.537145943.1644244100-1532666414.1643037112 .
We hope those tips are helpful, but if you aren’t able to resolve this issue with the ice maker our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737; a technician would be happy to assist with diagnosing and addressing this concern. I love the ice maker being completely in the door which frees up the shelving inside the refrigerator! This isn’t available on other brands.

Very pleased with this GE French Door refrigerator

Very happy with our purchase. Spacious, easy access to everything. Perfect lighting. Freezer is also just as roomy. French doors open wide. Storage on the right holds two one gallon milk containers. The one adjustable sliding shelf is great for the short term storage of tall items such as a wine bottle. Fruit and veggie drawers pull out independently. A plus when you open just one door. Touch screen outside left French door is easy to use. Like the fact I can see percentage of available use of water filter. Runs quietly. Efficient ice maker.

Nice Refrigerator

We had a different model before and this was as close as we could come to it without buying and LG. Love the see thru crispers and we are adjusting to using the water and ice in the door. My wife says you have to hit it just perfectly for it to work.

This new GE 'fridge is terrific! We replace a unit from 2009, so the features of this new one are much appreciated. It's got lots of room....the drawers for fruits and veggies plus the center drawer, are very spacious. The freezer section as well. We particularly enjoy the water/ice dispenser in the door.
