Bought a brand new house and the refrigerator came with it. The side of this refrigerator is warped and the panel is bowed out. When you push on the side it makes a hollow sound.The freezer handle keeps falling off and the water dispenser outside the door keeps dripping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi - We're so very sorry to hear you're unhappy with your new refrigerator. We understand the joy and excitement a new home brings and we hate that the refrigerator has disappointed you. It is not unusual to see a few drops of water drip from the dispenser after use. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature that can cause condensation to form and drip. That said, there should not be a continual drip from the dispenser. It is also normal to have a slight outward bow or bulging on either or both sides of the refrigerator cabinet once the refrigerator has been plugged in and turned on. Given these two concerns and the issue you're having with the drawer handle, we would recommend having GE Service out to check the refrigerator. We're confident they can remedy the issue with the handle and will need to check on the additional issues you've described. Cavernous!!

We've been using this refrigerator for our family of four for about a week now and I cannot believe how much space we have. Lots of room even for our pre-packed lunch boxes which would not have been doable in our old fridge. The ice and water dispenser are also at a great height for our kiddos. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase.

I simply love my new refrigerator. I always wanted a French door refrigerator and could not see buying another appliance as long as my current one was working. My old refrigerator was a GE side by side I had for 30 years and it finally quit. I knew I was buying a GE French door refrigerator and that’s what I did and I’m so glad I did it’s roomy and beautiful.

Freezer handle comes off easilly The fruit and vegetable drawer on the right side does not open completely when only the right door is opened Ice crusher not working properly

Poor interior design and barely cools

The interior fixed shelves are designed poorly. If you make the lower shelf tall enough for even a gallon of milk it makes the middle shelf almost useless. The shelves on the ice maker door are so small they are useless. The refrigerator compartment barely cools to the safe zone. Stays at 40 degrees with the thermostat set at 34 degrees. I like my milk cold not cool. Disappointed for the price.
