The look and space of this refrigerator is fine but it is so loud when it dispenses ice and even when it's just running. We've only had it for a week so I can't say too much else about it either way, but the volume really bothers me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators, as modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Touch proof stainless steel is wonderful! No messy fingerprints to worry about. The space it offers is more than I thought I bargained for. Freezer drawer below is easy slide in and out. Drawer space in fridge is great! The sliding shelf to add larger containers is a bonus! Ice box is very easy to empty out and put back in. Filter in the top right corner of the fridge doesn't take much space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Modern refrigerators have new features and are more energy efficient than older ones. The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation.
Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly.

Classic clean lines. Ice and water on door. Makes ice fast. Able to fill larger water bottles easily. Inside storage is ample on both fridg and freezer. Very satisfied
