Loudest refrigerator we have ever had

Refrigerator compressor very loud at times. Had to replace the touch panel after the “ice dispense quit functioning. Finish looks good as long as you don’t touch (stainless steel). Now finding freezing temp in back of the wide “temperature controlled” drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While the stainless steel does show fingerprints, it can be easily cleaned using mild soap (dish soap) and water, then rinsed with clear water and dried with a soft cloth. Loved this fridge.

First french door/ lower freezer ever owned. Water/ice in door with controls. Love the adjustable shelves and all the drawers. The only drawback is the bottom snack drawer is only accessible with both doors wide open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was able to order and have my refrigerator delivered in 48 hours. Delivery was on time and installation was a breeze. I was especially happy that the listed dimensions were precise as I was working with a very tight space. It fits and works perfectly.

Freezer door handle keeps falling off

The shelf set up does not give enough room for taller bottles like juice or wine. The refrigerator functions as it should, keeping things cold or frozen. The biggest drawback is the freezer door handle does not stay on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When opening the freezer drawer, we recommend pulling the handle straight out from the middle. To reattach the handle please review page 25 of the owner's manual -- https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-1.pdf --
If you continue to have difficulty with the handle, please call GE Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment to have the unit checked.
Also, please review page 16 regarding the Quick Space shelf on your model. If you "fold" the front half of the shelf in as described, you may find you do have the space you need for taller bottles like juice and wine.
