Great Refrigerator

So far we absolutely love our new GE fridge. The only downside is the freezer drawer handle sometimes gets loose and falls off. We have tried securing in its slots as best we can but every now and again it will fall off when you open the drawer. Other than that we are very happy with it.

My family just loves this product. The shelving inside and the shelves on the doors hold the perfect items. And cleaning and wiping down the outside is super easy!

Overall Good but noisy

Refi looks good! Really like how it updated my kitchen. However, it is impossible to open some drawers without opening BOTH doors (ALL the way)...and others can only be partially opened if you don't open the door more than 90 degrees to clear the thickness of doors. The doors are so thick- just opening them at 90 make it hard to reach into the inner spaces. BONUS: you can open/close either door. You do not have to open the right door to open left...(several others that is not the case! - so that option is a definite plus on this model) Due to the door issues...remember this when purchasing...I installed in a corner..not realizing the need to open doors so wide...This refrigerator is also VERY NOISY..and I think GE knows this and ignores it...the instruction manual has some pretty graphic illustrations stating the buzzing, whirring, popping is normal! (why?) other minor complaints that others have pointed out: spigot drips quite a lot...so must hold glass a bit longer. Ice dispenser sends ice chips flying outside of glass...(seems to be missing a flange at this level?). Positives: LARGE spacious and BRIGHT... Take away: overall great fridge...probably not the best for corner install...needs room to be able to open doors all the way...must get used to the noise.

After moving from a side by side fridge to this French door model, I love all of the room! The water and ice is dispensed quickly and the front of the fridge is magnetic! The only complaint we have is that we’ve already managed to break the handle off of the freezer drawer because it can be quite difficult to open and the plastic clips that hold the handle in place don’t appear to be very strong.
