Very similiar to my last GE French Door Refrigerator. Like the extra shelf space with the ice maker in the door. Very light inside and like that the water dispenser doesn't spray water outside of the container I'm filling. A little disappointed that the pizza shelf isn't in this model like my last one, and the freezer door glides feel a little wobbly when pulling it open but overall good value for the cost. Don't need all the bells and whistles and this fits our needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is SOOOOOOOOOOO good looking

When I bought fridge, I wanted the glossy black one to match the appliances I already had in my kitchen, but the glossy black was all out. I settled for the black stainless steel instead. I was nervous that it wouldn't match-match but when it got installed I was so happy that I didn't choose the gloss!! This black stainless still is EVER-RY-THANG!!! WHEW!!! IT IS SOOOOOO SEXY I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The storage in the fridge is good as well.

Not too many advanced features but the alarm when the fridge or freezer is left open is nice. Wish this fridge was a little bigger or had a better layout to fit more things. This fridge came with our house.

Side bowed out and noisy

This unit came with the left side seriously bowed out and I am still trying to rectify this with GE. It is also a very noisy unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A refrigerator that has been plugged in and is running may have an outward bow of about 3/8". We regret any inconvenience that or the noise may cause, and our Design team will be informed of your feedback for future review and development. Regarding the noise specifically, newer model refrigerators can be a bit louder than older models because of advances in technology and added features. If it may be useful for you, a description of sounds that are considered normal for this model is on page 42 of your manual.
If you think you may need to arrange for a service appointment for either issue, that department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737. An appointment can also be scheduled online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm if needed.
