Still getting used to it!

We upgraded from a 15 year old side by side fridge I was hesitant about a French door fridge as I was afraid the bottom freezer would just be a big section where stuff is piled in and I can't access the bottom. I was delighted to see that the freezer had a top drawer with 2 sections and a bottom area with 2 sections. This is very similar to the 4 pull out baskets that my side by side had. I like the deep door shelves and I was impressed at how quickly the ice bin filled up. We've only had this a few days so I hope this performance continues.

Some design issues

Love the look! However, the ice dispenser clogs with chunks of ice and has to be “dug out” almost weekly. It’s not because of keeping the door open too long as repairman suggested. Also, the handle on the freezer comes off repeatedly, each time we think we have seated it firmly. Both seem to be a design flaw, or else the installers were at fault.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my refrigerator. The freezer at the bottom is the best. Easy to reach and very roomy. The double doors are great as well. You can open only one side at a time if you know you have in there or open them both at the same time. Love the timer that notifies if the doors have been open too long.
