Fridge - Great, Manufacturing finish - Awful

We purchased this fridge and after getting it installed, noticed a bulge along one of the side panels. The side skin had not been properly glued down to the side. Another unit was brought out from the store that we had purchased from to swap out. It has the same problem. The store didn't have another in stock so ordered a replacement. The fridge came again with the same issue and it arrived 3 months later. GE has a serious quality control issue in their manufacturing. We finally gave up and figured it wasn't able to be done right. We like the fridge model and the space inside, it just sucks we have to look at a gap every day and that we paid so much money for something that didn't get produced to a higher standard. If stuff like this is allowed out the door, what else is being skimped on that is not seen. I suppose we'll find out later, most likely after the warranty is gone.

We're terribly sorry to hear that there is a bulge on the side of your new refrigerator and the dispenser is slow. We certainly understand how aggravating that is and would like to provide some helpful information.
There can be a slight outward bow or bulging on each side of a refrigerator cabinet, especially once the refrigerator is plugged in and has been in use.
A running refrigerator can have an outward bow of 3/8". This bow is measured by placing a straight edge against the side of the refrigerator.
The gap at the front and the rear corners should be equal, and no more than 3/8".
If the bow is 3/8" on a new refrigerator that has not been plugged in and running, then service is recommended.

The refrigerator came with sides dented in and the freezer drawer handle keeps falling off. Only 2 months old

We’ve been looking for a fridge for awhile but just couldn’t decide. We knew we did not want Samsung or LG. We did some research and decided on GE. This fridge is very roomy. It certainly meets our needs!

Squeaky drawer

The refrigerator is really pretty and up to date but not very functional. The bottom drawer sticks and it makes a shearing sound when pulled out. The bottom drawer is very hard to close and open when food is in the drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the ice making capability in the door along with the cold water in the door and also I really like the lights in the fruit and vegetable drawers and freezer compartment
