The refrigerator came with sides dented in and the freezer drawer handle keeps falling off. Only 2 months old

We’ve been looking for a fridge for awhile but just couldn’t decide. We knew we did not want Samsung or LG. We did some research and decided on GE. This fridge is very roomy. It certainly meets our needs!

Squeaky drawer

The refrigerator is really pretty and up to date but not very functional. The bottom drawer sticks and it makes a shearing sound when pulled out. The bottom drawer is very hard to close and open when food is in the drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While it is not unusual for the drawer to be difficult to open due to the strength of the door gaskets needed to properly seal that compartment, the shearing sound you have described should be checked by GE service. I like the ice making capability in the door along with the cold water in the door and also I really like the lights in the fruit and vegetable drawers and freezer compartment

Keeps everything nice and cold. Has lots of room for tons of food. The stainless steel is great at keeping fingerprints to a minimum.

Flimsy sheet metal on the sides

We have an "air pocket" about 2-3 feet long on the side of our refrigerator. The side has a bulge due to the sheet metal being very thin and from spray in insulation. Retailer said they are all like this and won't replace it.

Amazing Space

My husband and I love to cook so we always have a ton of food on hand for various recipes. We’ve loved how much space we have to work with in this fridge. It’s roomy and bright so everything is easily accessible. It’s amazing!
