Great refrigerator!

It has the ice-maker on TOP so ice is not constantly falling to bottom of fridge like my previous one. Freezer is still at the bottom, and I like the ice and water dispenser on the front. It has plenty of room but not deep like a previous fridge where things got lost in the back and forgotten.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE refrigerator

Would like door to close instead of staying open on the second catch. Vegetable, fruit and meat drawers do not glide in and out smoothly . Top shelf of freezer opens every time the freezer drawer is opened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Freezer

Good fridge. I've had it a couple of months now and glad I got this brand and model. It has about a shelf more worth of room inside than my previous side by side even though they were that same cu.ft. Cons: the freezer handle keeps coming off. Because of where the fridge is located in the kitchen it is easiest to for me to open the freezer drawer standing to the left of it. This causes the handle to come off, because it attaches by placing it on the mounting posts and pushing it to the right. Also, the words on the button controls, just above the ice/water dispenser, are nearly impossible to read - it is black print on dark silver background. Neither of these is a big enough issue to make me regret the purchase.

Beautiful, but, annoying doors

This fridge is beautiful and I’ve had excellent experience with GE products, however the configuration of the shelves and the fact that both doors have to be open to get the drawers open is annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
