Great looking

We like our new GE refrigerator. The shelves on the left side of the door are so small, it is difficult to fit anything on them, and it is noisier than our LG fridge was. I like the push back shelve that accommodates tall bottles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instantly Had Problems

The refrigerator was great when it first arrived, but this is where the greatness ended.
Instantly we started having issues with the appliance. The first issues that occurred was the water dispenser just stopped working. Was working fine, we left for the store and returned, opened and closed the doors for putting things away and it stopped working after that.
After multiple attempts at unplugging the appliance and plugging it back in, as directed my the support people at GE's website it did not work. After these attempts the light in the freezer has now stopped working.
The lights on the front panel have been acting funny as well. When pressing the Fridge or Freezer option to set the temperature all we see is flashing "- - -". Pressing the Filter button gives no output at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defrost is horrible, dispenser & light not working

The product is cheaply put together. The freezer drawer wobbles and the upper tray slide is very week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - Thanks for the review. Your comments about the quality and the freezer drawer are greatly appreciated and we do apologize for your inconvenience. It's normal for the freezer basket to wobble slightly. However, if the basket has an excess wobble it is the result of the slide not fully locked into the plastic/liner support. To correct the issue open the drawer completely to full extension then shut the drawer firmly with force, this will lock the slide tabs into position to eliminate the bad wobble.

Quiet operation

This same model was installed just over a month ago and was defective as compressor ran continuously and was very loud This same model was installed today and it is very quiet. We are very happy with the features and overall are very happy with this refrigerator.

This GE French Door refrigerator holds surprises! Although familiar with the benefits of the design, we were pleased to find these features: More LIGHT available since it has Glass shelves and Crystal clear Drawers; The Ice-dispenser device neatly riding on the Left door WITH storage, and a Roomy freezer drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
