Poor Ice Maker

Ice maker pushes out black ice and is therefore not usable

Black particles in ice can be an indicator of mold which would mean you need a new ice maker. For the best help, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. Awesome fridge

Love our new fridge. Everything is easy accessible. Plenty of space to keep stuff nice and organized. Not a huge fridge but perfect size for a family of 4

Great new fridge!

Loving my new fridge! But after having my old one for nearly 30 years, this is such a big change! Finally have water and ice in the door! Love the huge freezer compartment! Also the Slate color is beautiful! Just one con...seems to always be making some kind of noise!

Hello there, we're sorry your dispenser has been dripping water. We know this must get annoying, so we'll be sure to share your comment with our team for further evaluation.
If you notice that you have water dripping briefly after you use the dispenser, this is normal. This dribble of water (few drops) could occur for a few seconds after you have pulled your glass away from the dispenser. A few drops is normal, but you can also prevent water from missing the glass and dripping down the cradle area by moving glass slower when removing it from the cradle.
Dribble can be minimized by purging the chilled water reservoir and tubing by holding down the dispenser for 2 to 3 minutes. This will remove any trapped air that may be building pressure and causing the dribble.
