haven't had this refrigerator very long, but all is good so far- love the shelves on the door with the ice maker

In all honesty I wanted ice inside the freezer but due to a shortage of product I settled on this model. There is not enough ice cube storage. We have our family often for dinner and the fist time we ran out of ice. In addition the door mechanism on the freezer is loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your refrigerator’s Space-saving icemaker is located on the door which is intended to create more usable storage space within the fresh-food section. This icemaker stores 3.8 lbs. of ice and will make approximately 3.6 lbs. per day. Regarding the freezer door mechanism, if you are finding it difficult to open, we recommend rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly on the hinge to reduce this.

This is the most spacious fridge we've ever had. Comes apart easily. We had to take it apart to get it in the door. Love the settings and the light.
