Great Features, Good Size

The refrigerator is great with the exception compressor and fan noise. When the compressor kicks on it makes a low hum for a few seconds then a high hum for a few seconds, it is loud enough to notice while your in the kitchen. This rotating hum noise can become quite irritating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy access , all our items are at eye level .

We purchased your 26 CF French door with freezer and ice maker and water dispenser in the door. We have had and used the unit for a little over a month. Our overall assessment and expectation is it will continue to serve us with out issues. This unit replaced two previous name brand refrigerators that failed within the warranty period. GE has reputation for quality and we expect this unit to provide us with many years of service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks beautiful

The refrigerator looked beautiful. Our only disappointment was when they put the doorhandles on they scratched the top of the refrigerator as they were sliding the handles into place. The store manager offered a credit, but we have not seen one as yet. Would prefer not to have the marks.
As far as inside, it is beautiful and roomy. We love the icemaker being in the door and not part of the inside of the refrigerator. That is always a disaster.
The only complaint would be when the ice comes out, it sprays all over and water drips onto the basin. I will probably need to leave a small paper towel on the basin just to collect water. It was not a lot, a trip or two, and I think if you would just leave your cup there for a few seconds it would catch it.
Other than that, it has just been installed and we have not actually tested out the functionality. Hopefully it will be great.

We had to buy this refrigerator when there was a shortage of choice because of the Covid Pandemic. Had problem with the handle coming off until a service rep fix it. The freezer door is noisy when you pull it out (makes a clunk sound). When it dispenses ice you have to hold your glass really tight to the disperser otherwise chips of ice fly out over the top of the glass. Otherwise we can live with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tons of Room!

We love our new fridge! It has ALL the features we were looking for and is very spacious. It would have received five stars, but we were a bit disappointed in the size of the ice capacity. Our family goes through a lot of ice, everyday, and we have a feeling that the ice maker is going to have to be ON all the time, just to keep up with our demand. Other than that, everything looks good.

Day 1 after installation so far so good. Time will tell if GE can still produce a quality product that they will stand behind. This products looks amazing and has lots of room.

Poor freezer handle design

The fridge in general is fine but the handle for the freezer is ridiculous. We’ve replaced the clips TWICE. They break easily and we end up with the handle in our hand, rather than it opening the bottom drawer. Very frustrating. We open the drawer from the sides and avoid the handle all together. Absolutely absurd to have a brand new appliance and having to do such a thing. Hate it.
