This is a replacement for a 20 year old GE unit, which was still working. Did the upgrade for the energy savings plus new features.

I like my refrigerator, but it seems somewhat noisy when it kicks on, I thought it would be quieter, but maybe it me. I wish the options panel would be easier to read, but I have memorized were the ice options and water are, lol.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer door handle came off in less than a month. Read it in the reviews, but thought that issue was fixed. We have to open it from the side so the handle doesn’t fall off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall we are very satisfied with our new refrigerator. It is the finish that we wanted and a great size. The ice and water on the door has a great filter system and tastes great. Freezer space is nice. We feel that the drawers are a little tough to pull in and out of the freezer and fridge, hoping that they will loosen up as time goes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
