Made noise within hour of install

It is noisy. I called 1800# for repair, guy comes in to looks at model number and said “great” this model and started ordering new parts didn’t even have to check and he ordered new freezer fan parts. I was not impressed part #wr14x30125 fan evaporator cover and fan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Refrigerator is just what we were looking for. It has french doors as well as ice maker and water in the door but does not take space away from inside space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator is perfect for a small family that doesn't need all the bells and whistles. It's an attractive model, I've maker small and compact on the inside, makes plenty of ice. The shelves on the inside is enough space for us. Easy to care for to keep that shiny new look. It fit our budget and taste. We didn't need anything that was to fancy for just the two of us. It's an attractive addition to our other GE Profile appliances.

Great Fridge for the $$

Had an old GE 25 SS side-by-side that finally conked out after 20 years in service. Moved to this 25 french door black slate and what a difference! The fridge section seems more spacious, well laid out, and flexible storage. Freezer looks small but it actually fits more than in my previous side-by-side. The in-door icemaker is convenient, albeit small capacity. Two complaints that are not a big deal: water dispenser feels slow, so it takes 25 secs to dispense 2 cups of water, so filling my coffee pot w/ 12 cups takes 3 minutes, which feels like an eternity. The other thing is that the fridge doors need to be closed all the way, if you half close them they will swing back open; not sure if they can be adjusted.
Overall, the we are happy w/ this GE, it seems well made, convenient features, spacious, and great finish.
I would recommend this to a friend!
