1. Nothing bad, just pretty common overall. The GE brand appears to have fallen behind in terms of product design/features.
2. The refrigerator doors compartments are not well conceived or designed. The bottom one (on the non-ice maker side is virtually useless: it is hard to see and use.
3. The inside drawers are cheap and don't work smoothly. Same is true for the freezer drawer.
4. I like the outside stainless steel finger print resistant surface thus far.
In general, this 'frig is worse functionally than my old 'frig (at least 10 years old and certainly not high end as refrigerators go) and distinctly cheaper. This isn't a bad refrigerator but I'd make a different choice if I could.

Awesome refrigerator so far

Our new refrigerator is very spacious and everything is at eye level. The freezer is also very spacious for the 2 of us to use

Slate finish

Love the slate finish. Water dispenser too far forward and drips constantly. Wish there was more door storage and more flexible shelf layout. Average French door refrigerator.

Good fridge terrible drawers

Overall the fridge works well and the stainless doesn’t show much which is good but the unit is loud and rarely shuts off (fan/motor wise). The noise I can overlook as it becomes white noise after a bit. But the veggie and meat drawers do not move easily. You must grab them in the middle otherwise they bind (this also happens some with the bottom freezer door). No real rollers so they don’t glide well either. The double doors for the fridge have a detent that keeps the doors from closing when you want to nudge the door closed with your elbow when you shave a handful of items, which is pretty annoying. One last gripe is the shelving in the fridge, while it’s adjustable there is no good way to fit things like milk or orange juice containers without losing a row of shelves or using the push back shelf which keeps the tall items to the front of the fridge (in the way).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
