Happy with the purchase of our fridge. The moveable shelves are the best and the fridge is so roomy. The door shelves hold a surprising amount of items. I like all the drawers too. Only complaint is we run out of ice too soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased my GE fridge to replace my Samsung disaster of a fridge. I am very happy with this GE fridge! It is brightly lit inside and I can easily find what I'm looking for. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cold water quantity is low. I also love that the water filters are easy to purchase and replace.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My growing family needs the large capacity. Also with two kids under 6 years old, the locking feature on the water/ice control pad is VERY helpful to keep little hands from flooding the kitchen! The French doors are great for putting in casserole dishes and pizza boxes.

High pitched noise

The refrigerator looked good and had all the features I needed - exterior water/ice, in-door ice, fingerprint resistance stainless. However I returned it. The refrigerator makes a high-pitched hum, 4-5 hours in the morning and then on and off all day. The sound was comparable to an old LED lightbulb. The GE service tech explained this is normal for this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
