We are not very happy with this product. Unlike other ge products we've had, this one does not meet our expectations.

3 years old and freezer is icing up over and over

Bought this model new. Initially no problems. Last Fall freezer was warm. Found the coils were iced over. Defrosted and 2 mos later the same thing. Now we defrost it every 2 mos. Need to make a service call. My old fridge was 25 yrs old and running fine. This is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge, the only reason I didnt give it a 5 was due to the size of the ice container. We run out of ice quite often and have to use plastic ice trays for a back up.

Door shims have popped out 11 times since 17APR2020. Two letters to GE.
