Nice and quiet

It is wonderful to have a freezer/refrigerator that works great and DOES NOT LEAK.
We previously had a much more expensive refrigerator/freezer that leaked all over the kitchen floor about every three days. We were told if we just slammed the drawer everything would be fine. RIGHT!!! Problem never resolved.
Thank you GE for quality and reasonable pricing.

Love the slate finish. Ice maker makes good ice. Love the lights in the bottom to see in the drawers. Drawers are not very sturdy. Kinda cheap.

I wanted SS and a larger size. This one is perfect to replace my old side-by-side. Reasons for less than 5 stars:
It is loud like I read in other reviews, but after a few days, I don’t even notice it unless I focus on it
The ice maker bin is kind of small, this will not be a problem for me, but for a large family, it might not keep up
Overall, I like it. Good shelf layout, I like the slide away shelf, I like the bottom freezer more than I thought I would, and it looks good.

The product has lots of room for food and space for storage. I will say the ice maker is a little loud, but not a problem.

Love everything about the fridge, except the button selections for ice/water etc need to be backlit. Very hard to see when standing above the ice and water dispenser.

New GE Fridge

We are true GE buyers... we back them for what they do for our veterens... we own GE stove.. dishwater and now a new fridge... not really impressed with the inside layout.. but it will surfice... the lights in this newer model is no where near as good as the older one I pushed out into the garage.. and the drawers are really flimsy... the drawer in the freezer wont stay shut when you pull out the door which is agrivating
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
