Meets high standards

My whole family absolutely loves our new GE refrigerator. It's roomy, easy to see what you're looking for inside, great water and ice cube appliance and it's energy efficient.

The ice machine design is set up so that crushed ice sticks towards the bottom of the shoot and then melts leaving water to wipe up each time you use it. The doors require more effort than I anticipated to make sure that they are closed. Same goes for the freezer door, and if it isn't closed tight the freezer will ice over. I personally would not recommend this model due to the issues listed above.

Love my new fridge

We were looking at a brand that was lower in cost but the sales person pointed out the unnoticeable imperfections like the shelves inside. Then she showed us the GE French door model, sturdy shelves, lots of room. It was similar in look to the other one, but built better. And also the price was in budget. We love our new fridge.

Excellent fridge. Spacious. Love the French doors. Only negatives are ice maker only makes a small amount of ice until you dump it so you will need to have an alternate method of ice and handles are not stain resistant like the the doors! Overall, I would purchase again!

The ice maker needs to be bigger. The tiny little drawers or cubbies on the ice maker side door are useless they are too small for anything and the adjustable shelves are not designed well.
