We just recently purchased this and so far are loving it. So much room in the refrigerator section and the two drawers in the freezer section make it easy to store flat and odd-shaped items.

Very loud.

THis is my first really new and more modern refrigerator. From what I've read it's normal, but this refrigerator is really loud. Some of the sounds are just a regular hum, but at other times it cycles up and down and is extremely annoying. I can hear it anywhere on the lower level of my house. It's driving me nuts. If I had known the newer refrigerators ran constantly like this, I probably would have kept my older one until it broke down. Other that that, it's got lots of space on the inside. The ice dispenser is a little messy, almost always ends up with some ice on the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
