The fridge appears well made. It does make all kinds of interesting new sounds when running - nothing annoying, but it is not silent. The through the door dispenser has a large opening and dispenses quickly - I can fit my 1/2 gallon Rubbermaid pitcher for example. One shelf is split so that half of it nestles under the other half (front to back) making room on the next shelf for the occasional tall item. The black stainless steel finish shows fingerprints like crazy - we knew that beforehand and is not an issue with kids out of the house but I would not recommend for houses with teens or kids. You can pull out the first fruit/veggie drawers with the 1st french door open, but because the 2nd french door has a retracting flange for the 1st french door to seal against, the 2nd fruit/veggie drawer cannot pull out with the 1st french door closed -- both french doors must be open. And obviously, the double wide 3rd drawer also cannot pull out unless both french doors are open. Not a showstopper, but it is a consideration. The handles on the french doors were very hard to install. The installer/delivery person at first thought the clips might have been defective. It required quite a bit of force (I estimate about 100 lbs) to get the handles to "snap" into place. But after they snapped in, they were rock solid. The 25 cu.ft. unit sticks out a bit from the standard counter depth. This is a plus for french door units because it gives you a few extra inches of margin before your french door bangs into the cabinet drawer accidentally left slightly ajar next to the fridge. The french doors normally open wider than the fridge and impinge on the areas on each side of the fridge. Every counter depth french door unit I have seen at friends' homes have small dents in the french doors right where they contact the cabinet drawers if they are ever left ajar. Overall, I think this is a great buy especially if you can get it on sale or other discount and I highly recommend it.

Cheaply Made

I was so excited to get my new refrigerator. I had researched and done my due diligence. Unfortunately it did not pay off. First off, it is NOT stainless steel- magnets do not stick to stainless. Using stainless cleaner streaks and leaves a mess. Too bad I didn’t know it wasn’t stainless until too late. Next, it is cheaply made. Not too mention that in the 3 weeks I have had my fridge I am awaiting my second service call. The ice maker is already not working, nor is the clock keeping time. First issue was the draw fell out of the oven!! So sad that I’m stuck with this oven for years to come.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge fot the price

Would have given it 5 stars but the engineer that designed the butter tray needs top be kicked in the back side. Butter tray is on the bottom of the door and makes it very hard to get in and out. They way it it's designed is that this is the only places this shelf will go so you cant move it up top

Shelves are not very adjustable

I really dislike the shelves in the freezer and refrigerator. It must have been a man who designed this. I do like the icemaker. The stainless steel handles on the slade refrigerator leave fingerprints (which is really rather stupid since the rest of the refrigerator is said to not show fingerprints.
