Beautiful Fridge

Its been two weeks so I can't speak to longevity, but very satisfied so far. Great looks, cooled down quickly, plenty of space, plenty of interior light, functional cold water/ice dispenser, and easy install. I particularly like the light that comes on over the water/ice dispenser when in use. Had a slight concern about reviews that said it was loud. It is not silent, but I do not find it to be noisy at all. Noise level is a non-issue. The doors require a little push to close. Again, a non-issue. That slight extra push gives me a sense that the door closure is tight and secure. It does take a small extra tug to open the freezer door all the way, but you get used to the motion that it takes to get it fully extended. Its a pull out, then push down slightly, motion. It is effortless once you get the hang of it. I have had good success with GE appliances in the past and hope that this one will meet expectations.

Like the french door design

Like having the french door design that allows view all the shelves without bending down. Still get use to the freezer drawer. Stuff get over packed and then the drawer does not shut all the way and sometimes not noticed. The full bottom drawer would be better if was half so could be opened with one door open. In the door ice maker has been keeping up with our needs of adding to water bottles despite the small size.

French door frig

I like everything about this appliance. Good size freezer and it is on the bottom. Great outside water and ice features. More than enough shelving. What’s not to love!

Love the design

We switched from a side by side to this style and I love it. Only thing I wish it had was a grate/something to catch water drips, etc under the water and ice dispenser in the door. It’s just a flat surface so after kids I had to make sure it gets wiped. Otherwise water down the door onto my hardwoods. But overall great frig!

Poor Quality

Disappointed in the quality. My old side by side refrigerator was still running when I replaced it with stainless steel. I loved my old refrigerator. The inside shelves are plastic. The top shelf that can be adjusted doesn’t fit correctly on the ridge. I put water bottles on it and it collapsed. Sadly disappointed in GE

I really like it, the only thing is the bottom 'crisper drawer' that goes all the way across. I think it would be easier to have two separate drawers rather than the one. The french doors both have to be opened to get anything out of that drawer.

Small & Badly Designed

Inner door trays are so small they’re virtually useless. The text denoting the water & ice is inexplicably faint to the point of being unreadable.
