I am so happy with this refrigerator! Tons of space and compartments! The freezer is huge! Easy to clean as well! Best refrigerator I’ve bought yet!

Noisy Refrigerator

We purchased a complet GE kitchen appliance suite. Took delivery on August 4, 2108. Noticed right from the beginning that this refrigerator was making mush more noise than our 18 year old refrigerator. Contacted Wholesale Appliance, requested a service visit. On Aug. 14, 2108 a very nice repair tech showed up and ran a series of tests with his equipment. Told us that the noise was within the normal specified ranges. The refrigerator runs constantly, and is loud. Requested a second service visit. If this visit does not solve the issue we are going to return it for a credit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very noisy!

We bought this refrigerator 6werks ago and have regretted the purchase. This is the loudest refrigerator we have ever heard. It runs constantly and makes a high-pitched up and down whirring sound. Our family room is connected to our kitchen, so it is very annoying. GE came out and replaced one of the fans, but it still sounds the same. If it weren’t for the matching slate color with our other slate appliances, we would certainly have returned it. We do NOT recommend any GE refrigerator.

Good solid refrigerator

Frig has worked well since purchase. Ice water and ice in door works well. Control pad can be confusing. Large lower drawer is great! But dividers in freezer seem fragile and likely to break.

Bought this a few months ago. Only complaint I have is that the water line in the drawer drips. The manual says it will right away and to keep from dripping on ledge don't take the glass away quickly. Problem is, I don't feel like holding the glass there for five or more minutes. There is no drip right away, but drips do happen much later.
Other than this, the refrigerator works fine, features are nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
