The refrigerator works good but is very noisy and run for long periods of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A wonderful refrigerator

We bought this as a replacement for a previous GE model that stopped working after 12 years. Always have liked the features and space provided by GE.

So much Space!

This fridge has so much capacity! There are 4 of us and we have plenty of room left even after a grocery trip. We love the slate grey material that doesn't show the littles finger prints.The freezer is well designed and holds lots of goodies. My husband loves the ice maker and its ease of being taken out to fill his drink coolers ;)

Better Refrigerator than the Samsung it Replaced

This new GE Fridge is quiet. Makes ice very fast and cools/freezes food efficiently. The water and ice dispenser is lower than our Samsung was so our grand kids can get their own water!

GE Brand not the same

I've been using GE appliances for the last 44 years. Sadly, I had to replace an aging refrigerator that finally failed. Bought this frig hoping for many years of service. Unfortunately, there wasn't one on display to look at. The appliance is beautiful, however, it's interior shelves and drawers are made of a very lightweight, cheap material. The freezer drawer is very clunky and noisy. The water dispenser drips water and there is no slotted drain pan for the water to drain out. Overall, I'm disappointed in this frig and if I could do it over again, I would definitely NOT purchase. th

Huge capacity!

We like the fridge. Very spacious, almost too large. Remove one shelf in order to place gallon milk judge and liter bottle of liquid in the fridge and not the door.
